An 18-year-old baller who graduated senior high school in Holy Child College of Davao is now ready for collegiate tourneys.

Before heading to Davao City, Froilan Palcis is already a youngster you need to know. He studied at Talisayan Central High School and later on at St. Mary’s of Talisayan.
Muti-awarded kid when he bags several gold medals, athlete of the year award, and a most valuable player award in some local tourneys in Misamis Oriental.

15 years old when Froilan Palcis was recruited by coach Roger Rabago. Traveled to Davao City and eventually lined up for Red Eagles.
Without a doubt, this power forward adds some fuel with the team during his 4-year long stay for Holy Child.
“Nagpapasalamat ako kay Coach (Roger), siya talaga yung naging Tatay ko dito sa Davao. Sobrang dami ko natutunan at napaka matulungin ni coach sa amin.”
His first-year appearance donning red jersey was felt when they won gold in Milo BEST Regional and in Line Meet.
In his last 2 years for Red Eagles, the team manages to win a back-to-back NBTC Regionals title and a Palarong Regional stint that has been canceled due to COVID-19.
Palcis was also eyed from one of the CESAFI teams during his senior years but loyalty for the red and white is in his blood already.
“Actually, my parents don’t want me to, (referring to him transferring to Davao City) kasi malayo. Pero para sa pangarap ko tinuloy ko pa rin.”
The most heartbreaking part for this Froilan Palcis is when he graduated that both his national tournament was canceled.

“Ang lungkot lang na natapos yung playing year namin nang ganito. But hoping that God has a better plan for us.”
His career in basketball will surely bring him to a bigger stage. Coaches believe that he deserves to play for a bigger one.
