The Mapua Cardinals member joined the “outside the court story” of other ballers who helps the frontliners amid the pandemic.
April 28, Tuesday, when Noah Tracy Lugo’s Mother, Lheen Limbauan, and his Aunt celebrated their birthdays but this year is way more different than usual.
Makati homegrown Noah told his Mother to celebrate their special day by helping the frontliners. Her mother and aunt with the help of his brother Johnred without a doubt agreed with the 26-year-old cardinals’ guard.
“It’s odd because we have a big family and we used to celebrate it with my whole family. But since the pandemic, most of my family members are not present because they have to stay at home. But nonetheless, I am very grateful to God for giving me another year of life and thankful as well for the warm wishes of my family and friends,”
said Maylene Limbauan, Nico’s Aunt.
Noah along with his family opted to celebrate the day by giving food packs to the frontliners of Brgy. Pitogo, Brgy. South Cembo, and Brgy. Nuevo.
Asking Lugo on what it feels like sharing blessings to others, “Sobrang sarap sa pakiramdam dahil na ka tulong kami ng family ko at naka plano na talaga na pag nagka pera magpapakain sa frontliner/s, sakto sa birthday nila mama and tita na may konting biyaya para maka tulong sa kapwa frontliner.”
Malayan standout and a 3-year Cardinal point guard did not forget to give thanks to the two riders who helped them distributing the foods to all the frontliners in the Baranggays mentioned above.
Like Alaska Aces draftee Allyn Bulanadi, Noah Lugo is encouraging everyone to not to lose hope, we’re all going to get through this crisis.
“Sana matapos na talaga, Also, I’m encouraging everyone to have faith in God. We will beat COVID-19, Pinoy tayo,”
he added.
